Malcolm Bates is an associate in the Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring group at Duane Morris LLP. He represents creditors and parties in interest in a variety of commercial bankruptcy settings, including complex Chapter 11 proceedings, bankruptcy litigation and appeals, out-of-court workouts, and Subchapter V proceedings. Bates also maintains an active pro bono practice, including consumer debtor bankruptcy representation, asylum applications, and policy advocacy related to criminal justice reform.
Jarret P. Hitchings is a partner in the Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring group at Duane Morris LLP. He represents business debtors, lenders, and creditors, particularly with respect to bankruptcy and distressed-asset litigation. Hitchings also maintains an active cross-border insolvency and restructuring practice focused on Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, representing official foreign administrators and liquidators for a variety of entities and investment structures.
