Gina M. Jacobs is a partner in Jones Walker LLP’s Corporate Practice Group. She focuses on business planning and commercial transactions, commercial finance, and mergers and acquisitions, advising privately held businesses regarding business planning, contracting, finance, and acquisition and divestiture needs. She provides counsel to companies in a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, gaming, telecommunications, construction, and Native American tribes and enterprises. Kristina M. Johnson is a partner in Jones Walker LLP’s Litigation Practice Group. She provides sophisticated counsel in complex and often cross-jurisdictional bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, workouts, receiverships, commercial litigation, and collection matters. She is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and one of only six Mississippi attorneys board certified in business bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification. Johnson is a Senior Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America and a board member for both ABI and the American Board of Certification.
Jeffrey R. Barber is a partner in Jones Walker LLP’s Litigation Practice Group. He focuses on bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights matters and regularly represents a variety of clients in bankruptcy proceedings, state and federal receiverships, and other state and federal proceedings involving debtor-creditor relationships throughout the United States. Barber has served as an adjunct professor of debtor-creditor law at the Mississippi College School of Law and has completed the American Bankruptcy Institute and St. John’s University School of Law Bankruptcy Mediation Training.
