Robert Fitzgerald is an associate in the corporate restructuring practice at Skadden and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. He represents clients in complex debt restructurings, troubled company mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions. Fitzgerald has experience advising companies and their stakeholders in a range of distressed transactions and situations, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court debt restructurings, and recapitalizations.
Seth Jacobson is a partner and global head of Skadden’s Banking Group and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. He represents lenders and borrowers in connection with various types of sophisticated financing transactions in a variety of industries. Jacobson’s typical transactions include acquisition financings, leveraged loans, asset-based loans, complex intercreditor arrangements, and leasing arrangements.
Shana Elberg is a corporate restructuring partner at Skadden and is based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice is concentrated on business reorganizations, cross-border, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters. She has substantial experience advising companies, creditors, equity holders, lenders, investors, sellers, purchasers, and other parties in interest in a variety of distressed situations and restructuring transactions. Elberg has worked across a variety of industries, including energy, financial services, sports, shipping, and retail.
