Liam D. Ahearn is a managing director with Gordian Group and has helped lead several successful advisory and investment banking engagements during his time at the firm across a range of industries, including consumer retail, healthcare, industrials, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Gordian, he held a senior position at Capstone Advisory Group and at Lehman Brothers before that. Ahearn has completed the CIRA program and is a graduate of Georgetown University.
Peter S. Kaufman is president and head of Restructuring and Distressed M&A at Gordian Group. He is co-author of Distressed Investment Banking: To the Abyss and Back – 2nd Edition and Equity Holders Under Siege: Strategies and Tactics for Distressed Businesses, frequently speaks on restructuring and bankruptcy topics, and serves as an adjunct faculty/lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law. Kaufman graduated from Yale College and the University of Virginia School of Law.
David L. Herman is a partner with Gordian Group, an independent investment bank providing unconflicted advice to companies, boards, and shareholders—including PE firms and family groups—in complex, “story,” and distressed situations. Since joining Gordian in 2000, he has worked with companies across a wide range of industries to facilitate successful restructurings, capital raises, and M&A transactions in and out of bankruptcy. Herman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
