Charlene MacDonald leads FTI Consulting’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Public Affairs team in Washington, D.C. In this role, she advises clients on matters that include public policy, litigation, and complex restructuring cases. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, MacDonald spent more than a decade in government serving key congressional leaders, including House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland and Washington Sen. Patty Murray. MacDonald holds an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and undergraduate degrees in political science and sociology from Lake Forest College.
