Christopher Updike is a counsel in Debevoise & Plimpton’s Business Restructuring & Workouts Group. He represents debtors, creditors, lenders, acquirers, and other interested parties across a variety of industries in all aspects of complex restructurings, including traditional, prenegotiated, and prepackaged Chapter 11 cases, out-of-court workouts, and cross-border insolvency proceedings. He is a voting member of the Committee on Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization of the New York City Bar Association and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
Jasmine Ball is a partner in Debevoise & Plimpton’s Business Restructuring & Workouts Group. She represents debtors, investors, creditors, and other parties in distressed M&A, workouts, debt and equity financing and refinancing, complex restructurings, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. She is a TMA member, co-chair of the International Women’s Insolvency Confederation (IWIRC) New York Chapter’s board, and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and the International Bar Association. Ball is also a member of Debevoise’s Diversity Committee and is active in various Asian legal associations.
