Cornerstone Program

The Cornerstone 15 Campaign is a $1.5 million campaign to create a board-designated endowment dedicated to research and education for the turnaround and corporate renewal industry. In the dynamic world of corporate renewal, the demand for new research and educational programs to meet industry professionals’ needs is increasing. That’s why in its 15th anniversary year—2003—TMA launched the Cornerstone 15 Campaign.

The mission of the Cornerstone 15 board-designated endowment is to provide a financial base to advance the corporate renewal industry through research and education by:

  • Serving as a clearinghouse for information and research pertinent to the corporate renewal industry.
  • Collaborating with universities, professors, and industry professionals to promote higher standards of practice and improved methodologies in turnaround management.
  • Fostering professional development opportunities for turnaround executives, enhancing necessary competencies for successful practice.

The Cornerstone board-designated endowment accepts large, medium, and small contributions from the corporate renewal community. The minimum contribution required to be recognized as a Cornerstone 15 donor is $500 per year for five years, or $2,500. Contribution levels are:

Cornerstone Capital Donor ($100,000 or more)

Cornerstone Donor ($75,000 - $99,999)

Leadership Donor ($50,000 - $74,999)

Sustaining Donor ($25,000 - $49,999)

Benefactor Donor ($10,000 - $24,999)

Patron Donor ($5,000 - $9,999)

Supporter Donor ($500 - $4,999)

Cornerstone 15 donors receive a host of benefits for their support of the endowment. These include:

  • Monthly recognition in TMA’s The Journal of Corporate Renewal
  • Acknowledgement on TMA’s Web site
  • Acknowledgement in TMA’s conference brochures and program books
  • Recognition on signage at each of TMA’s three conferences and conventions throughout the year

  • “Sneak previews” of upcoming event sponsorship opportunities at conferences and conventions

  • In some instances, opportunities to attend “invitation only” events at TMA’s conferences and conventions
  • A seat on TMA’s Cornerstone Council for firms that pledge $50,000 or more, or that have reached an aggregate contribution level of $50,000 or more
