Andrew (Andy) Cerussi has joined the Boston office of Tiger Financial LLC, an affiliate of Tiger Capital Group, as a managing director, and Eric Schloemer has been promoted to director of business development for Tiger Group in Chicago. Cerussi is a 20-year veteran of the asset-based lending and financial services industries and focuses on identifying both secured debt financing and equity capital opportunities. Previously, he was a senior vice president at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he helped manage the Retail Finance Group. Schloemer is a 14-year veteran of the financial services industry and was previously a senior associate in Tiger’s Valuation Services division. He leads the Midwest business development efforts for the firm’s asset valuation practice, serving the asset-based lending, turnaround, private equity, and investment banking communities.

Jennifer Meyerowitz has joined Stretto as executive vice president for business development. With more than 20 years of experience in the bankruptcy and fiduciary industries, she leads the organization’s business-development efforts for the firm’s Trustee Suite and Best Case by Stretto business units. Meyerowitz most recently was a managing director with Keen-Summit Capital Partners LLC. She is a member of TMA Global’s Executive Board, serving as vice president of membership, and in 2020 received TMA Global’s Individual Contribution Award.

Joe Prudden has been promoted to president of Big Shoulders Capital. He previously served as CFO of the private equity firm. Other promotions announced recently by the firm included Howard Spivack, who moved from finance director to CFO, and Alex Mazer, who was promoted to executive vice president from vice president. In addition, Evan Zwerman has joined the firm as senior vice president of originations. Big Shoulders Capital is a family office that makes debt and equity investments in underperforming lower middle-market operating companies.

Spencer Ware, CTP, has joined the restructuring practice of Conway MacKenzie as a managing director in the firm’s New York office. In addition to serving restructuring clients across all industries, he is the firm’s retail practice leader. Ware has extensive experience in restructuring and turnaround across a number of industries with a concentration on retail. He recently served as interim treasurer for JC Penney through its bankruptcy. Ware was most recently a director with AlixPartners. He is chair of TMA Global’s Editorial Advisory Board.
