This is going to be a don't miss event if ever there was one! Join us as we enjoy an evening of networking and entertainment Ted* Talks style with two accomplished speakers from the Ted Talks circuit.
Speaker | Liza Donnelly, Cartoonist & Writer
Liza Donnelly is an award-winning cartoonist and writer with The New Yorker Magazine, and resident cartoonist at CBS News. She also writes for the New York Times, Forbes.com, and Medium. She has been profiled globally in numerous publications and her work has been exhibited around the world. Ms. Donnelly is a Cultural Envoy for the US State Department, traveling around the world speaking about freedom of speech, cartoons and women's rights. As a public speaker, Donnelly has also spoken at TED (Technology Entertainment and Design), the United Nations, and the American Association of Editorial Cartoonists annual convention. Donnelly was profiled on CBS Sunday Morning and NBC. 
Speaker | Maysoon Zayid, Comedian
Maysoon Zayid is an actress, comedian, disability advocate, and writer. Maysoon had the number one TED Talk of 2014 and was named 1 of 100 Women of 2015 by the BBC. As a professional comedian, Maysoon has performed in top New York clubs and has toured extensively at home and abroad. She was a headliner on the Arabs Gone Wild Comedy Tour and The Muslims Are Coming Tour. She was a full-time On-Air Contributor to Countdown with Keith Olbermann and a columnist for The Daily Beast. She has most recently appeared on Oprah Winfrey Network's In Deep Shift, 60 Minutes, and VICE. Maysoon appeared alongside Adam Sandler in You Don't Mess With the Zohan and is the founder of Maysoon's Kids, a scholarship and wellness program for disabled refugee children.
