TMA and NextGen Spain held its Annual Assembly on Wednesday June 24th with all their members where Fedra Valencia finished his year as a President of TMA Spain giving way to the new chairman, Adrián Thery, who comes from the prestigious law firm Uría y Menéndez. There were words of appreciation to the President for the great management carried out during his mandate, a period in which a large number of professionals have joined the association and also all set expectations have been fulfilled. Fedra thanked the vice presidents and all the Committee members for their involvement and support throughout the year.

After the ceremony, there was a presentation by two Brazilian prestigious lawyers, Luiz Donetti and Wilbert Sánchez from MHM and Thoureau Capital that talked about the current economic situation in Brazil: its structural crisis, the devaluation of the Real, investment opportunities and restructuring operations. Following the Brazilian lawyers, Eduardo Navarro from Sherpa Capital and TMA Spain member gave an interesting presentation entitled “Myths and Realities of distress situations”

After the speeches, cocktails were served. Once again the event was a great success in which all members had the opportunity to develop their networking in addition to acquiring more knowledge in the field of their sector.
