Certification Oversight Committee updates Rules and Regulations

The Certification Oversight Committee (COC), led by President Allen Wilen, CTP, President-Elect Michael Von Lehman, CTP, and Vice President - Standards Brian Gleason, CTP, adopted changes to the Certification Program Rules and Regulations that clarify the procedures for individuals seeking reinstatement as a Certified Turnaround Analyst (CTA) or Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP).

As businesses navigate the distress and uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the experience, knowledge, and expertise of CTAs and CTPs is more important than ever. Individuals who were previously certified and wish to regain the use of the CTA or CTP credential will be reviewed by the COC's Standards Subcommittee.

In a highly scrutinized profession, the CTA and CTP designations are objective measures of the experience, knowledge, and integrity necessary to conduct corporate renewal work. To find a CTA or CTP who can help your business through troubled times, please consult the TMA Membership Directory.
