How do I set up my TMA profile or log in for the first time?

 

 

How do I edit my TMA membership directory profile and choose display preferences?

1. Log into your TMA account at www.turnaround.org
2. Click “Profile”
3. Click “Edit” next to the sections you wish to update
4. To change company or title, emailmembership@turnaround.org with your full name and the name of your new company.

Important! How to Set your directory display preferences:

1. Log into your TMA account at www.turnaround.org
2. Click “Profile”, scroll to the Additional Preferences section and choose Edit.
3. Be sure to set Y or N for both “Opt-In” and “Exclude Me” questions
4. (optional) Suppress phone and/or email from displaying

To add a directory photo:

1. Log into your TMA account at www.turnaround.org
2. Click “Upload Directory Photo”
3. Click “Insert New Biography”
4. Choose File and click “Insert Bio” (your photo should be no larger than 500 x 500 pixels)

Where can I get a copy of my invoice for my paid membership/event?

Log into your TMA account on turnaround.organd click “Invoice History”

 

How do I change my company name?

Send an email to membership@turnaround.org with your full name and the name of your new company.

 

How do I register for an event?

Go to the TMA event page at turnaround.org/events, find the event you want to register for and click “Register for Event.” You will be prompted to log into your TMA account to finish the process.  

 

Who do I talk to about an event question?

On the landing page of every TMA event there is a “For More Information, Contact” section with the primary contact for that event where all questions and inquiries can be directed to. 

 

Is membership a year from when you join or does it start at the beginning of the calendar year?

Membership lasts one full calendar year from the date you join.

 

How do I transfer chapters?

Send an email to membership@turnaround.org and state to which chapter you would like to be relocated.

 

Does my membership discount work at other chapters?

Yes, in the event that you want to attend an event that is hosted by another TMA chapter you will still receive the member rate.TMA is focused on providing opportunities to network locally, regionally, nationally and internationally as part of the member experience.

 

Do I need to renew my TMA membership to keep my CTP/CTA?

You do not have to be a TMA member to keep/renew your CTP/CTA. Click here for more information on certification.

 

How do I find other TMA members?

To browse by chapter, industry, or occupation, please visit our online Membership Directory. You can also perform an advanced search for members by name, location, specialty area, and other criteria. 

 

Search functionality is also found by clicking on the magnifying glass icon on the extreme right of the homepage navigation bar.

 

Who is the primary contact at my chapter?

On the TMA website, click “Chapters,” then select your chapter, and at the bottom of your chapter page you will find the phone and email to your chapter executive.

 

How do I read the Journal of Corporate Renewal (JCR)?

The printed JCR is mailed nine times a year to all North American TMA members as a member benefit or to those that have subscribed. The journal is also available online and on-demand via an app.

 

To read the JCR on-demand through the app, download from Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon.com by searching “Journal of Corporate Renewal.”

What is TMAConnect and how do I join?

TMAConnect, sponsored by Ritchie Brothers, is a members-only service that virtually introduces you to other TMA members via email based on a series of simple questions. If you joined TMA for referrals and business connections, TMAConnect does the heavy lifting for you by connecting you with others that will help achieve your networking or business goals.

The TMA Network of Women (TMA NOW) is an affinity group within TMA, created to foster female leadership by creating the premier business development and networking group for women in the turnaround community. TMA NOW aims to provide substantive educational programming and networking opportunities to promote career growth and help women break through the glass ceiling.

What is TMA NextGen and how do I get involved?

TMA NextGen is an affinity program created to provide education, networking, and business development for TMA members aged 40 and under. The goal is to connect the next generation of turnaround and corporate restructuring professionals with unique networking and educational opportunities tailored to those in the early stages of their career.
