TMA Sweden is excited to host Hans Eckerström of Nordic Capital on the evening of 28 May (starting from 17.30, see below). Hans will present an interesting case study of Nordic Capital’s acquisition, turnaround and stock exchange listing of the classic Swedish company Thule Group, with an annual turnover of almost SEK 6 billion. The seminar will primarily focus on the turnaround phase of Thule Group, during which the company went from being unprofitable to successful, which later enabled a listing of the company.
Co-host of the event is the Swedish House of Finance.
Hans Eckerström is a former partner at Nordic Capital, a leading private equity fund primarily focused on the Nordic region with total committed capital of approx. EUR 12.5 billions and approx. 30 portfolio companies. Since joining Nordic Capital in 2001, Hans has previously been involved in a number of buy-outs including SATS, Canal+, Cloetta/Leaf, Aditro, Nefab and Saferoad. Hans currently serves on the boards of the Thule Group, Brink International and Britax.

The seminar will be held in Advokatfirman Wistrand’s offices on Regeringsgatan 65 in central Stockholm.
The event is held on 28 May. It will start with a meet and greet with drinks and light snacks on from 17.30. Hans Eckerström’s seminar will begin at 18.00. Estimated length of seminar including opportunity to ask questions and have a discussion is appr. 90 minutes.
