On October 14, 2016, the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association hosted legendary Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka at its fall breakfast forum at The Standard Club in Chicago.  The event marked the opening reception of the NextGen global conference in Chicago and was attended by approximately 200 restructuring professionals—including a number of international TMA members.

Coach Ditka, who led the Bears in their iconic 1985 championship season, regaled his audience with stories of life, both before and after coaching.  His lessons on leadership and dealing with vibrant personalities under challenging circumstances were particularly apropos and well received.

The program was moderated by Ira Kreft of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which sponsored the event.
